Hands-on experience to challenge and support people in a variety of activities
Project Twin Streams
independent ENDEAVOURS works on an exciting project in collaboration with Project Twin Streams, an urban sustainability project which aims to restore local waterways back to their natural environments by replanting native trees along their banks.
In 2010, we adopted two sites along the Opanuku Stream, Henderson, and, once a month, a group of volunteers excelled themselves by planting 100s of seedling trees at each session! This initiative has been met with huge enthusiasm, with volunteers gaining invaluable knowledge and experience.
In 2011 we set up a new project in Glen Eden, with Glen Eden Project Twin Streams.
We invite you to join us in looking after the sites and planting native trees along the stream banks. Afterwards, enjoy lunch among the friendly company of others.
