Skills for a lifetime for people who are thinking about entering the workforce and would like support to make it happen. Get up to date information and support to prepare for work.

Topics include:

► Transition from Benefit to Wages; Planning for Change.


Naturally Speaking

This is a six-session education workshop for people who are not confident when communicating with others, and who want to learn and build on practical skills for effective communication.

► Want to be more assertive?

► Is it hard to say no?

► Are you getting the responses you want?

► Not resolving conflicts the way you’d like?

For people who would like to:

► Grow their self confidence

► Be more assertive

► Develop their connections to community.

We will identify different ways of getting messages across, examine thinking and actions that block good communication, and practice in a fun low-key learning environment.


Taking Charge of Stress

A six-session workshop being offered in the community for people who:

► Feel stressed out, worry a lot and want to be more in control of their stress

► Find that anxiety is a major part of their lives

► Identify themselves as experiencing a disability

This education workshop will look at identifying how anxiety affects us, and practical ways we can reduce our stress levels, in a friendly and supportive learning environment.


Meaning, Purpose and Identity

A two-session workshop being offered for people who:

► Would like to explore their personality preferences more.

► Would like to understand what gives them meaning and purpose in their lives.

► Would like to have a better understanding of their identity and work towards creating more meaning and purpose.
